When going to the movie theatre, what do you get from the concession stand?

I agree, now I'm hungry for it!Originally Posted by kittylover4ever
We almost always get a large popcorn and I sneak in water in my purse. Just isn't a movie without the overpriced greasy popcorn!
yup, bring a big purse or wear a jacket with big pockets! it is absolutely ridiculous how much they charge for stuff at the theatre- a candy bar you can get for 50 cents at the gas station will cost you 3 bucks at the theatreOriginally Posted by sweetiecat3
Movie theatres I go to don't let you do that- they want you to be forced to buy their overpriced food if you're hungry, so they make more money. Not sure about the one you go to though. But when I go to the movies, I usually buy some candy and a soda from the closest gas station and put it in my purse. *shhh, don't tell!* A lot of people do that, anyways. And I buy a small popcorn there.

Usually popcorn and drinks. WAY too expensive, but you can only get the artery clogging popcorn grease one place!
I saw one trick that I just have to remember the last time we were at a movie. Two ladies bought one of the huge-monster tubs that they allow you to get free refills on (I'm sure they figure they'll almost never have to refill those things!). They had plastic bags with them, dumped the tub into one bag, then went back for their free refill! No bumping hands in the middle of the movie and they could each put as much butter-grease on as they wanted! Genius!
