Help!! Cat Related Discussion At Work

Ok, A quick question for all of you cat lovers!!
I'm having a discussion at work that I hope someone could shed some light on

One of our numbers brought back a box of chocolates from Finland called Kissan Kielet, and the chocolates are called cat tongues don't sound all that nice, but taste ok

Most the people here think the cats look fake or stuffed because they are funny lookin' (perticularly their eyes and forward curling whiskers?!.... I know for a fact that they are real! But I need evidence! Are they a specific breed? If so I would be able to find some similar pictures... Are there any other pictures or references out there with respect to the curvy whiskers etc... I don't know! Anything to help build a case to prove them all wrong!

but that would be a bit macabre, putting a pictures of stuffed dead cats on a chocolate box!

They just look like someone didn't do a very good job with the art. I'd be very surprised if that was actually a photo. Given the highlights in their fur and the mono-tone color, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it was. Esp. w/ the one on the right's body posture!

Their eyes are very scary too!

I'm not sure if there is a long-haired version of the American Wirehair breed but they will have curvy crinkly whiskers. Also Rex have crinkly whiskers but that certainly is not them! I don't think the pics are real either... but I think its taken from the wirehair.

Looks like just bad art, I suppose the stare is meant to represent cute kitten eyes.

BTW: I've never seen this chocolate before in my life.

Those are from the Quiznos subs commercials! I loved those coomercials, but they don't have them on anymore(at least not here).

I don't think the cats in question are real. I agree that they look like artwork. Not good artwork, but granted, artwork still the same.

Whew! I'm relieved to see that they aren't stuffed cats! I thought they looked like Persians, just not in a very natural state!!

I have no clue what they'd be if real, I'm another that thinks they look fake. Who would want chocolates named cat tongues???

I swear to god! I dreamt they were in my house and they were alive but stiff like they were stuffed. I could see them breathing and their eyes sort of moving!

I was like "muuuuuumm! Who brought these into the house!"

My sentiments exactly! I was more disgusted by the name of the candy than the picture on the box. Yuck
