First Iris Bloom of 2006

Still learning how to use this camera but the first iris of the season burst out in bloom this evening and I just had to share it with Ya'll. Over the next few weeks I have over one hundred different varieties that will be blooming so any constructive criticism is very welcome When they bloom I will post more pics if ya want me to ???

I like the full frontal view... Very pretty!!!!

The second picture is stunning! My mom has a ton of iris' around her house. Glory (RB) had a spot in them she would hide to watch the birds. Even though her full name is another flower (Morning Glory) I always think of her when I see Iris'!

Nice irises! My mother also has some gorgeous ones in her yard.

Did you take that with a digital camera? If so, which one? I'm looking into a new digital and want good photos like that!

Those are beautiful photos! It's hard to choose I like them both- yes please post some more when they bloom!

For those that are interested Here are a few that just bloomed overnight, as I said, I am still learning how to use this camera sooooooooo be gentle.
