When I was 8 I had a full blown stomach virus, the nastiest kind you can imagine.
Split pea and ham soup was one of my absolute favorite things, until then.
I had some for lunch, which of course didn't stay down long.
The memories will haunt me forever!
There are lots of foods I don't like, but peas are the only one I refuse flat out to eat.
Beets, never been a fan. They taste like dirt to me. And in NZ they have a penchant for putting beetroot in everything, so it was hard to avoid.
I wouldn't eat "exotic" animals just for the thrill of it either - like snakes or dog just 'cos you're in a country where they do.

PEAS!!!! I HATE PEAS!!!! will even pick them out of my soup and other dishes so I don't have to eat them! My ex mother in law would make 2 veggies when we go to her house for dinner one for me and peas for her
I won't eat anything that has pork or beef in it. The taste of either makes me
. I also don't like squid or eel. But I'd try them in different things, just not calamari or raw. That grosses me out!

As for foods I'm not allergic too and just do not like, tofu! That and soy sauce. I once drank a dipping sauce (it was a dare) that was probably 2 parts soy sauce, one part peanut sauce and now cant even smell soy sauce.

There are a few foods I won't choose to eat, but nothing I can think of that I would refuse to eat. Mostly I like pretty much everything, and will try pretty much anything.

This thread is pretty funny, but surprising too. Some of you are really passionate.
I can't really think of anything I'd refuse to eat that's been put on my plate. I would never eat headcheese, but that has never been put in front of me anyway.

I love watermelon, but I hate celery. That makes me gag as well as tuna and mayonaise together.
I want to add seafood and squash and onions....... I could name a bunch. I am with all the picky eaters.
