Sponge keeps making these sad whining noises when I go in to check on her. She rolls over on her back and her back legs stick straight up in the air and she then she wants her belly rubbed. She is back in the playroom sleeping again. She got for a while and roamed around but that didnt last long. I wonder which of us is gonna have kittens first? I think you because your cat seems like she may be a little farther along than mine. mine doesnt have any big stuff hanging out quiet like yours. LMAO

Maybe I should clean her behind for her??? LMAO I swear she can't bend over to get it!
When she tries and almost gets close she just ends up rolling either on her back or her side.

Nikki, you might win...but I don't have any idea truthfully!

I'm not sure how much Kassie is having contractions. I wonder should I try to time them? Is it even necessary for me to try to take her temperature?

I called the vet and they said not to worry yet, she will probably have them through the night.

She is breathing a little rapid and not meowing or anything, but she has slowed down on her eating finally. Before she was eating like there was no end in site, but now she seems pretty nestled under the bed.

I just looked at the picture, and it looks like the mucous plug to me. I have had queens lose the mucous plug as early as a week before delivery, and as late as a few hours before delivering their first kitten.
I would keep an eye on her, but it looks as though everything is going smoothly so far. I look forward to hearing all of the updates.

The mucous plug is also what I was told by a friend that it sounded like. She is the one that I got Kassie from, she still has Kassie's mommy.

I'm just waiting...impatiently! LMAO

I am doing the same, waiting....impatienly. Our Queen is in her 69th day of pregnancy, and she went to the vet today to make sure everything is okay. The vet said that since she is showing no signs of distress to wait 3-4 more days. This is the longest that I have ever had a Momma go. I can say I am a little worried, just because I am such a worrier, but she does seem happy and content.
We can impatiently wait together.

We can place fun bets on who's Momma goes first.

I knew we would lose the race!

We had the same race on the pregnancy boards for my daughter and she's gonna try for 2nd, maybe 3rd place! LMAO

Kassie is still just fine, no babies yet. I'm getting ready to go to bed, but I'll be getting up to check on her through the night. I'm a worrier!

I'll update either through the night or tomorrow.

I want to thank everyone for being so supportive and helpful!

Nikki and familytime...be sure to keep me posted on your expanding families too!

g'nite for now...

Of course I couldn't sleep!
Kassie did not want to stay in the room anymore so we came downstairs and let her chill for awhile. I got the camera out to show you how she's become a little roly poly now!
She is having trouble cleaning herself and just plops over!!! It's too cute!!!
Here's the link:

She does not look real huge, as I've seen much bigger bellies on here but I think because she was so petite before is why she looks big to us.
Here's a pic of her as well:

Now, gonna go try to lay down again.
