What words do your cats respond to the most?
For my two, it's "treat"
. I have to avoid using the word altogether when I'm not about to give them a treat because they get SO worked up!
Cosette also gets so excited when I mention "daddy". She starts purring and runs to the door!
She's definitely a daddy's girl
.

They all like the word "treats"

Mister, Spalding & Baker like to hear "fresh litter" which is when I dump it all out, then they go mark it

Whenever I say Haarrrrllleeeeyyyy, he'll meow back at me, like he's saying "What do you want?!"

Or if I say Harley-Butt, he'll meow too, but I don't think its a happy meow, I don't think he likes his nickname

Treats of course is a good one too, he's always hungry

Oh I forgot one! Eponine's favorite word is "dinners"- it means she's about to get some wet food!

Trout likes it when I call her furry baby..Every day when I get home, I say" Where's my furry little baby?" And she'll come running out fo the bedroom all happy and meowy...Its so cute!!

Also, for some reason, when she is being vocal and mewing for no reason..I'll say "What?", and she'll meow...and then I'll just keep saying "What?" to her and she meow back everytime as if to say "Nothin mom"...

Conner meows to anything I say just about. People think we're crazy because we carry on an entire conversation like we completely understand eachother, and I think we do, lol. Cats' ranges of meows are so unique that they equal or surpass the human vocal range.

They all seems to like it when I use their nicknames, especially Peter who gets all cute and purry when I call him my "hunk." Gracie gets extremely excited when I say "yummies" - our word for treats. Claire rolls over and shows me her pretty tummy when I say "tickle, tickle, tickle" which means I'm going to pet her. And, Katie comes running when I say "who wants this?" which means they're going to get wet food.

I never really noticed their resposes to words per se, cause when I say "are you ready for dinner?" its when I'm opening the cupboard, so I think that's the action the sets them off
Simon responds to kitty kitty kitty (ya know, when you say it really fast in the high pitch?) he will stop whatever he's doing and run to me- its like he can't resist it! Sapphy likes it when I call her pretty princess- she'll chirp
Haven't had the kits long enough yet
