Hi, everyone! This is my first day on the site, so I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Molly, and I am the proud owner of a 5-year-old huge, gorgeous, black and white long-haired angel named Owen (see below). He has the most hilarious personality of any cat I have met, and about 80% of the time has a facial expression of what I like to call "startled confusion". He is my feline soulmate.
On a sad note, I ran across this site today because last night I lost my second cat, a sweetheart named Ruthie, to a horrible, fast-moving illness. In a matter of days she went from happy and healthy to lethargic and skin and bones - it was very scary and one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. I am glad to say this site has already helped me begin the recovery process, just through reading how supportive this community obviously is. I look forward to getting to know all of you in the future.
