Got engaged!!!!!

So Rich is finally going to make an honest woman of me


He proposed Friday night, on bended knee, here at home! Even though we've talked about it a little, I was still gobsmacked, lost for words and did shed (a few) tears


He picked the ring himself - he bought it in Wales and he did a GREAT JOB! I don't really wear jewellery, I don't own any rings and I'm allergic to gold, so I must have been a right pain to buy an engagement ring for
I can't get a good enough picture with my digital camera but iI searched on the internet and t's just like the ring here - platinum band with a bezel-set solitaire diamond.

We don't have a date yet (or even a country where to get married!!!), but I'm so happy - I just keep looking at the ring and can't quite take it in!

And hey, now I can join the "Getting Married" thread!

I am just bubbling over Sarah and that has nothing to do with the champagne I've been drinking
- I can't stop grinning


The ring is honestly what I would have picked myself - I still can't believe that not only did he pick this ring but that it fits perfectly! Everyone tells me it's very "me"
If I make it to the UK meet-up you'll get to see it in reality!

I imagine you're just absorbing every happy moment of it - I know I would be!


Your ring is abolutely fantatic and Rich did an amazing job to find exactly what you wanted and have it fit to a tee!!


Oh, I certainly hope you do make it to the meet-up
- I really want to see the sparkle of your ring!
