My in-law's dog Jake thinks he's a lap dog too! He is a boxer sheppard mix. I bet he weighs 70lb easy! I love it though! He's good to hug on!

I'd love to see it
I really hate these bans they are putting on them. I mean how can you punish the dogs so injustly, and let their owners who fight them etc... walk freely? Those are the *people* if you can consider them human, who should be banned, not these gentle giants. In Denver, no pits are allowed period!!!!!!!
they have one of the worst laws against pits that I know of

I am a member of a pitbull website, and the pain and struggle some of those babies goes through is heartbreaking. But there are soo many nice, dedicated people rescueing (sp) them, giving them a second chance. I'm soo glad I got to know the breed, I'm hooked for life

Just by looking at his photos, I doubt he's mixed with anything, unless possibly another bully breed.

As far as the bans go, phooey!

One of my neighbors is a vet, he prefers working with cats, but he says pits are his favorite clients as far as dogs go.

The best 'dangerous' dog laws I've heard of do not discriminate based on breed, but rather the weight of the animal and it's past history.
They do not ban though, rather they require those dogs have special licensing, the properties have special fencing and special posted signs, and the animals are required to attended and pass obediance and cannine good citizen classes.

Note to self: Read thread titles more carefully. This one is not "How much does his Willy weigh"!

I choked on a sunflower seed when I read that!

I hope you don't mind me sort of hijacking things here, but I think you need another "bully" to keep Willy company. How about big head Eddie?

Tricias petz, we have had people drive from Ontario down here to southern MN(almost in Iowa) to adopt from us. I don't know why, but all of them are awesome pet owners!

I don't think Willy will like him too much
he sure is cute though, I'm sure he'll find a great home asap

So I'm guessing you work/volenteer at a shelter? How on earth do you do it? I mean I would be up to my ears in pets
I feel soo sorry for them when I see them in their little cages, poor babies.

I can hardly keep up with the poop somedays. That's how I do it. I know I've got 3 permanent inside cats to scoop up after, 2 foster cats, 8 outside cats to scoop after, & 2 dogs. Plus I have 2 gerbils I have to play with(that's tough-playing with the gerbils). Besides that, I love the feeling I get when I send a kitty home with someone. It makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside(corny, I know).

I do have a hard time leaving Eddie, though. I do mostly cats, but I make sure I visit Eddie every time I am there.
