it just boggles my mind that this is the same little puppy we adopted not long ago
what happened to the baby?
Getting him weighed answers my question if I could pick him up or not anymore
I don't think so

Brody acts just like a cat sometimes. When we are sitting on the couch he will jump up onto our lap and try to snuggle up by our necks. I can just imagine Willy trying to do that, Ouch!

They get big so fast. We didn't have Brody as a pup so I didn't get to see him grow up. But I swear Dori went from baby kitten to big kitty in a matter of days!

HA! It's funny you mention that
Willy, despite his size, is quite the agile couch leaper
we get soo scared when we see him leaping towards us, but he is quite graceful- he manages to land his big self perfectly in between whoevers lap he wants to be on. And don't tell him he's 80 lbs lol he is the biggest lap dog ever!

couch frog

this is how little he once was

he still thinks he's that little

lol he's so cute.
but isn't 80-85 about average for a male pitty?

At 95 pounds, I wish Bear was so graceful.
You'd swear he never grew out of his clumsy puppy stage.

I wish Macey was even slightly graceful, too! She frequently trips on her own feet, smacks me in the face with her paw, & my favorite it to watch her try to walk on ice. She scoots along the ice on her belly or she falls.
I guess I shouldn't laugh at her. Nobody bothered to work with the poor girl. I have been teaching her to learn where her feet are like you would do a horse, walkiing over boards, sticks, etc.

So, what are Lucy & Willy(breeds)? What are their stories? I guess I missed that & they are both do cute!

Lucy is an English setter. She is about 6 years old, and weighs 75 lbs. She is a silly girl, who is scared of her own shadow (seriously) she is a very sweet girl. She caught my Dads eye at the shelter and has been with us ever since

here's the girl - this picture is her, through and through!

Willy is a pit mix. We got him from the shelter shortly after we lost our beloved Ricky (RIP) Willy was just a puppy at the shelter in a cage with his gorgeous sis. He was soo well behaved in his cage, that changed as soon as he was home! He has such a personality
one of the biggest camera hams ever! Willy is still a pup, he'll be 2 this summer. With him weighing in at 80 lbs, I can only imagine what he'll weigh in at when he stops growing

I just love that he only has the small bit of brindling on his head, not having a saddle too makes him very unique looking.

Willy is a pit bull mix (we're not too sure about the mix part!) we think the shelter just labeled them that so they could be adopted out. I hate all the negativity that surrounds the breed, they are the best dogs!!!!

There is a bully mix breed of some sort(maybe pit, maybe am staff??) at the humane society that is absolutely GORGEOUS! He has the biggest head I have ever seen....the biggest heart, too. He is the sweetest dog there. His head is so big that the biggest choke chain you can buy barely fits over it. He is the sweetest dog that gets overlooked so many times. He will scare the living daylights out of you, though. I soooo want to bring him home. He is very misunderstood.

Glad you brought home a "ferocious" pit bull! He does look mighty mean!
