What do you normally order at Taco Bell? Your favorite item there? My absolute favorite thing is the spicy chicken burrito, but my standard order also usually includes a meximelt and baja beef gordito and grilled steak taco

Were you really in the Army? Yep - 4 years reserves, 5 years active duty

What did you do after high school? Did you go to college? Did you know at that point in your life that you wanted to serve God? I went on to college
and majored in journalism. Servng God was sort of in the back of my mind at that point, but I was trying really hard to deny it.

Are you allowed to die your hair now or is that considered being vain? I personally wouldn't do it, but know a couple of nuns that do.

Favorite gift you have ever received? You already know the answer - my George Clooney calendar. Seriously, it's the ring my parents gave me when I made my final vows two years ago.

Least favorite?: A bright red velvet sweater that my Grandma gave me years ago for Xmas. It totally clashed with my hair and I had to pretend to like it. My mom made me wear it whenever we saw Grandma.

I was just wondering one thing...If you are a nun, do you live in your own house? or do you live in a convent?

I live house owned by my religious community - that's how I can get away with having four cats!
It's a two family, so I live in one apartment and another nun lives downstairs. Our older, retired Sisters do live in the convent, though.

How did you become involved with the rescue group you work with? Tell us a bit about them.

OK, this is a weird one. I have mentioned to you before that you break my stereoytpes about nuns. You seem more laid back than the ones I remember from when I was a child
Do you think this is typical for the modern nun, or are their still many sisters that would have me shaking in my boots?

Are her parents still a nun and priest? They would have had to leave religious life to get married and remain Catholic. I do know of one local priest who's married and has a family, but he was a minister in the Lutheran church before becoming Catholic, so it was allowed. I also know of a couple of nuns with children, but they become nuns after their husbands died and the kids were grown!

Your questions are the toughest so far, Fran!

We're called the Neighborhood Cat Helpers and I became involved a little over a year ago after doing an article about one of the volunteers. We don't have a shelter, but are a network of independent cat rescuers/foster homes. Our primary focus is TNR, but we end up doing rescue anyway. Last year our little group fixed 241 cats/kittens, with 92 adoptions. The rest of the cats, who were feral, were returned to managed colonies.

I think most nuns today, especially women like me who entered after having other experiences, are pretty laid back. I think it's the ones who became nuns at a very young age, some still in high school, that never had a chance to be young and enjoy themselves, who end up so stern, and even bitter. I know a few like that!

Ok, here are my questions:

What is your biggest irrational fear/phobia?
What food do your cats love most?
Seaside or mountain trip?
What makes you automatically feel at home in a place?
If you could change one single thing in the world, what would it be?

Hope you like these!

Hope you're having fun Eileen!

Do you find it weird that we ask so many questions about being a nun?
Is "nunnery" a word?
What sort of things are you not allowed to do as a nun?
Where did the George Clooney thing start?
What's your favorite color?
Would you die if there were no more Taco Bells?
Why is gas so expensive?
If you could have as many cats as you wanted, how many would you have?

That's all I can think of for now!

Ok, here are my questions:

What is your biggest irrational fear/phobia? Roaches and toilets that flush really loud
What food do your cats love most? Friskies canned ocean whitefish and tuna flavor
Seaside or mountain trip? Tough choice, but I'll go with the mountains
What makes you automatically feel at home in a place? If there's a pet in the house
If you could change one single thing in the world, what would it be? An end to child and animal abuse

Hope you like these! Good ones, thanks!!!

Hope you're having fun Eileen!

Do you find it weird that we ask so many questions about being a nun? Not at all. I figure people are pretty curious.
Is "nunnery" a word? Yes, but it's not used much any more.
What sort of things are you not allowed to do as a nun? Wear leather mini skirts, have expensive cars and jewelry, go on dates
Where did the George Clooney thing start? I've always liked him, but started having dreams about him a year ago. Mentioned it to my boss and on TCS and it grew from there!
What's your favorite color? blue
Would you die if there were no more Taco Bells? What a scary thought! I'd survive, though, as long as there were other mexican restaurants.
Why is gas so expensive? Because of greedy oil company executives
If you could have as many cats as you wanted, how many would you have? As many as I could responsibly care for and still have a clean, decent home
that my family and friends wouldn't mind visiting.

That's all I can think of for now!

If you could take a step back in your life and change something, would you? If so, what would you change? I wouldn't change a thing, since I believe everything, good and bad, happens for a reason and that I've learned from every experience
Most depressing moment in your life (if you're willing to share)? Right after I got out of the Army - it was hard to come home without a job and move in with my parents
Most emotional point in your life? My first year in religious life
Biggest temptation for you? Fast food
Name 7 small things that have made you happy today: My cats waking me up this morning, seeing a coworker who'd been off for two weeks, having apple pie for dessert at lunch, a funny phone call from my mom, an email from a friend I haven't heard from in a while, getting home and finding a good movie delivered from blockbuster.com, having Katie on my lap as I type this
Most annoying smiley in your opinion?
(I use it too much!)
Do you like watermelon? not that much
What season do you think you are most like and why? I think I'm like fall - most days I try to be sunny and refreshing, but every now and then I'm kind of chilly and cloudy.

The events you remember most from around that age..........

toddler: hugs from my mom
kid:playing with my brother who's two years younger than me
tween:moving and having to start at a new school
teenager: starting high school and working on the newpaper
early adulthood: joining the Army and being out on my own
now:making my final vows two years ago, the births of nieces and nephews

What is most important to you? my relationships with my fellow Sisters, my family (cats included), and my friends
Weirdest dream you ever had? When I was trying to save people at my church from terrorists and took a pill that caused me to vomit on the bad guys!

Enjoy your week!!

I am back! i need to wash my brain but i have no soap.

1. You walk into church... there is nobody there... its a sunday morning and mass should have already started... you take a look around and decide to go to the back where there is a little room, you knock on the door but nobody answers but there is something shuffeling inside, you decide to open the door knob and.... You see George clooney with his pants around his ankles and tied on his chair... There is a male figure standing next to him in a bra and female underwear with balloons filled with water to substitute as breast that is munching on the holy bread.
The man screams "holy clapping hyper dude! you scared the chickens out of me!" You dont do anything.. you just stand there in shock to realise that the man had filled his balloons with orange juice and was trying to breast feed George!

Please continue the story
