Hi All,

I'm new to this site, and am glad I am here. I have a 11 month old black male. He has recently within the last week or so developed small bumps or nodules on both of his ears? I do not see anything unusual inside his ears but where the nodules or bumps are he is starting to loose his hair on those spots. He doesn't seem to be itching or anything like that. He seems to be normal in all ways. He's an indoor cat, he's never let outdoors. He's had all of his vaccines, etc. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

My mom's dog has knot's on his ear and was told he had warts. I don't think so but am also no vet. I think it is worth a call .

Hi and welcome-
First let me ask you if the bumps are on the outside pinna of the ear or on the inside? If they are on the inside it may be a food/inhalant allergy. Uno we have found is allergic to chicken and after a while of being on Iams original food he too developed hair loss and bumps on his ears. I have since switched him to Iams Oceanfish and everything is back to normal. If they are on the outside I would think maybe ringworm-Uno too had that shortly after adopting him-if it is ringworm (heaven forbid!) then you need to get him to the vet ASAP. If you cannot get him there soon, then try an over the counter anti-fungal cream, it is not a true test of ringworm but as always you should check with the vet. Good luck to you and your kitty!~
