Eek!!!! Dead critter on the road

Went outside this morning to pick up the newspaper and saw a dead animal on the road. It was small and brown with a hairless tail. Neil went to take a look and said it was a muskrat!!! It was a couple three hundred feet from the creek so what was it doing crossing the road tomy property??? He took a shovel and moved it to the other side of the road. Yucky!!!!!

At least your husband was nice enough to move the poor thing out of the road so more people would not hit it!

I big tractor with about 10 wheels pulling a big manure spreader drove over but on on it just before he moved it or it would have been gross.

Oh man, that would of been bad! That was nice of your DH to move the poor 'lil guy.

Poor little muskrat. Those guys are cute! I love watching them in the pond at the golf course here. People think they're so cute, then they find out that they're a type of rat and freak out! They're harmless creatures who provide a tasty meal for the ever watchful hawks.
