Whisker Question

I guess I have never asked this before, but is it normal for whiskers to fall out??

Our foster cat, Hobbes one day lost all his whiskers, they grew back longer but it was strange.

Now Peaches loses a whisker here or there (it's much much coarser than the regular hairs). I figure it must be normal cause Pandora's whiskers are very not coarse.

yes it is ... if it seems excessive then a vet visit

Losing all the whiskers at once is not normal, but whiskers do shed, just like other hairs.
