I've been seeing previews for this movie a lot lately, and I really want to go see it - although I know it will be quite moving to watch.

There have been some reports on TV saying that it was portayed extremely well.

Will you be going to see this movie?

I will most definitely see it. The actions of those passengers belong in the public consciousness. IMO, people have forgotten about 9/11/way too quickly. I think this film is a good way to remind them.

I don't think I could bring myself to watch it. I do think it's good to keep the memory alive but I think it is still all too real in the lives of the family members that lost their loved ones.

Thats very true - I'm not sure I can go to the theatre and watch it, I think I'll have to end up renting it and watching it at home.

It'll be too soon until they catch Usama bin Ladin. Although, they aren't trying all that hard or at least aren't talking about it anymore.
It might be too soon after that. People have PTSD from this, and I feel for them every time the preview comes on. I mean, really.

It's about Flight 93 where the passengers tried to stop the hijackers on 9/11 and the hijackers ended up crashing the plane into a field in Pennsylvania.

I personally don't think I could see it as I'm still too raw from when it all actually happened.

I don't think I can go to see it, either. What happened that day was awful & I'd give anything to change what happened, but I just cannot watch that.

I saw the made-for-TV movie a while back. Ever since the day it happened, I wanted to hear the whole story. I may watch it again when it comes out in the theatre. It's long overdue.

This film is done with unknown actors and is in 'real time'. I do not doubt that it will be difficult to watch.

From what I understand, most of the family members of the people who were on board Flight 93 support this film. One of the pilots was from Colorado, and his wife talked about the movie recently, as well as finally being able to talk about the flight recorders and what happened.

I definitely want to see it, although I do know it will be very difficult to watch. I agree with Deb that it has slipped out of the public consciousness all too quickly.

It is not the same documentary that they made for Discovery Channel. This one is a re-creation, as close to what actually happened as they can piece together, of what happened on that flight as it happened in real time. The reviews I've heard from those who have seen the previews is that it is very moving and made a huge impact on them.

My adult daughters and I needed some laughs, so we went to our local theater to see Thanks for Smoking.

We had just settled into our seats when the preview for United 93 came on.
One of my daughters started quietly crying ...it was painful to watch even the preview.
If you go be sure to take plenty of tissue ---it is going to be a heart wrenching film.

The transition from the United 93 preview to a funny movie was not easy but finally, we got caught up in the hilarious plot of Thanks for Smoking.
It was a funny, poignant film that I would recommend to everyone.

I think that I will wait until United 93 comes out on DVD and invite friends and family over to watch it together.

For me...it would be to personal & painful to see in a theater.

I surpassed any emotional response I have ever had in a theater when I saw The Passion of the Christ. I think I was openly sobbing for at least half of the film.

I expect this film will be just as bad. But I need to see it on the big screen. It is important to me.
