"Got it off once before, I'm going to try again."

Still have no idea how she did it, but she broke her paw.

E collar was added after she managed to get the splint completely off.
It's going to be an interesting six weeks!

Here is a thread that I started when my Sadie had to wear an collar.
Lot of kitties wearing collars.

I sure hope that your baby feels better real soon.

Ahh, Grazee, how did you do that?
Healing vibes sent you way for a quick, and uneventful remainder of the 6 weeks.

Thank you! Grazee is a "set in her ways" type. She likes routine.

When Grazee wakes up, I am going to show her the link of
Sadie & other kitties.

Those casts look sooo uncomfortable for them :-/ Otis broke his leg when he was a kitten but it only took about 4 weeks for him to heal. Some tips...Make sure to pay attention to the position of the cast, Otis's slipped down and his leg healed with a slight deformity. I also put a sock on his because he used to drag it in litter, it made it a lot easier to keep clean and was still easy to check his toes for swelling. He had the cutest little froggy one
I made a shorter litter box for him too out of a cardboard box because the cast can be so heavy to lift. How old is she? Hopefully she'll heal quickly! Otis got really sick from losing weight and being dehydrated from his because he was so tiny he spent too much energy carrying around the heavy thing. Looks like she's a bit older though so hopefully everything will go well, good luck!

She does. She's adjusting to it as well as she can.
Thank you.
