Last night, I thought it was time for me to do a good deed for strangers.
I work at the post office and we have a whole lot of surplus stamps in a container that don't go anywhere, they have mostly fallen off mail and last night there was a piece of mail that was applying for a job (it said so on the front) and they wanted it to be sent via priority and it was shortpaid, so I thought, well, I am hoping that person is lucky if they get the job, because I know how sucky it is to hunt for jobs and so I added an extra stamp on the mail - so they wouldnt be short paid. And sent it on its way.

Done any good deeds?

dropped off three cases of dog food to a homeless man who has a dog he keeps with him.

I have tried to give the man himself food. but he will never take it. will only take things for his dog

Awwww, hes really devoted to his dog isn't he?
But it is still sad he won't accept food for himself.

The other day a lady came in with a smashed up car - she was an older lady, in her 80's - and we fixed the car - but come to find out, she had not even submitted her claim yet to her insurance company, which usually is a big pain for us to back track and re-do it, but I did all of her claim work for her and took care of all the phone calls to her insurance company, which usually isn't part of my job description.

She was extremely grateful, I didn't see it as anything super special, I like to take care of my customers - but to see her happy that I did all that extra work and extra time for her, she was so happy
