I use Frontline or Advantage on my cats during the hot weather months. I have been buying it at the vet's office. I have checked and seen some on Ebay. I have also heard about Pet Meds 800 number. Just wondering where some of you folks purchase these meds for your cats.

And if you don't mind me piggy-backing on your thread, I'd also like to find an online source for Revolution that doesn't require a prescription....if such exists.

Personally, I'd stay away from Ebay - no guarantees or way to tell if it's the genuine stuff.

Watch out for counterfeit products: Counterfeit Pesticide Products for Dogs and Cats

I buy my Advantage & Frontline from entirelypets.com (or their sister site healthypets.com) and have always had good experiences with them - I've been buying from them for several years now.

I believe Revolution is a prescription-only product. You can buy it from the sites listed above, but only if your vet provides a prescription.

I simply get ours for our cats at the vet. I know it's real, safe and that's worth more than money to us.

We get ours from Dr. Foster and Smith. Advantage and frontline are actually on sale right now too.
We do online and order it, drsfostersmith.com. I have had wonderful experiences with them and would recomend them. As for revolution, you do have to have a Rx. If you get it w/o one, I would be worried about the quality or if it was safe.

I also buy Frontline and prescription medications from entirelypets.com. I have been buying from them for 6 years because they have good prices and excellent service. They also have a vet on staff to check all prescriptions that they fill.

Their prices:

Advantage 4 month:
orange $35.99
purple $48.99

Program 6 month:
orange $42.99
purple $43.99

Dr. Foster and Smith also have advantage on sale:

Advantage 4 month:
orange $29.99
purple $42.99

I won't buy from Foster & Smith because they also sell Bio Spot made by Hartz that has been known to kill cats.

We get our Revolution from Revival Animal. I have never used Frontline, but I have used Advantage, and one of our dogs, and one of our cats had an allergic reaction to it. The other cats and other dog was fine.
I like Revolution because it takes care of so many other things, other than fleas.

We get all our stuff at www.petshed.com they have wonderful prices, I haven't found Revolution anywhere cheaper & without a Prescription, also I have had it checked & it isn't the fake stuff. The vet was impressed at the prices they have. Also have another great site, still looking for it though.

I've ordered Revolution from Equine Mega Store in Australia. It's the real stuff & you don't need a prescription. The shipping is very reasonable & it doesn't take long to receive my package in the U.S.

Even with shipping included, it's cheaper than my vet. Might have to give that a try.

I haven't used either, but I do know that my vet's office is willing to match any reputable internet site's price. They're concerned about fake products being out there and having the customers get the product quickly.
