So, last weekend when I was home, I bought the cutest 3" wedge sandles for work - they are so cute, I love them - BUT - they hurt my feet SO bad, but what do I do? I've worn them just about everyday this week!

I have a tendancy to get really cute shoes, which always end up being 2"-3" heels that always hurt so bad, but I wear them anyways!

Am I the only one out there that suffers pain for shoes that you just LOVE?!

Maybe I'm just crazy!

I have my fair share of really comfy flip flops that I wear all the time too, but I can never resist a cute pair of heels!

Due to scar tissue buildup on the joint right below my big toe I have to eliminate about 80% of shoes-esp strappy, high heeled ones as they may compress that scar tissue. I've gone to DSW and tried on countless pairs of shoes looking for cute shoes that won't bother that area. As a joint replacement is my only solution for my foot at this time -which that won't be happening soon; I'm limited to lower/no heel shoes!!

Ugh....I bought a beautiful pair of high heels at JC Pennys, and had to take them off after only about 30 minutes of wearing them, because they actually dug into the area between my heel and ankel, and made it bleed pretty badly. I have a small scar there now.

I still wear them, but I put a band-aid over the place where it rubs in so it doesn't hurt so much.

Wow, 3" heels - you're brave!

I just bought a really cute pair of sort of dressy black slingbacks to wear for work with a 1 1/2" heel and they're painful enough. It's been a while since I've worn heels though, so I'm hoping to get more used to them!

I just walk REALLY careful, my luck, I'll fall and hurt myself!

Oohhh.... I love slingbacks, I think they are so cute!

Eh. You'r a braver woman than I to go for heels. I just tell myself that I don't wear them because Ian and I are basically the same height, but in reality, it's because I have a very small pain threshold and I'd surely fall on my face anyway.

Well, I hardly ever wear them around John, cuz we are the same height as well!

I only wear them at work, that way I'm taller than most the guys I work with, that way I look more powerful and they really listen to me!

If you're crazy, then I am too, because I do that all the time. I'm surprised that I haven't tripped over my shoes.

I grew up as "one of the guys", so I *try* to avoid high heels. I cannot walk in them. I end up stomping around. I walk like a man. Although, I do have a cute paid of high heeled boots I wear a lot.

I love to wear heels. I am a little over 5'8". It's funny to be so tall. I feel like a moose.

I'm opposite. At 5'9, I try for pumps (ugh hate that word though makes me feel old)...err...up to 1.5 inches. Whenever I've worn the 2-3" heels, that puts me taller then most men in this area and it brings them to a new "eye level". Then I feel violated.

I sometimes wish I were shorter so I could feel comfortable wearing the cute shoes!
