Windows Vista

Have any of you heard about the new Windows coming out? it's called Windows Vista. I just found out about it and went to the website, well.... I was blown away!! It's like Windows XP but 105% enhanced, it has a whole new interface, five diffrent versions and a ton of new features that are awesome. So many new things added to it. I can't wait for it to come out. Take a look at the link below.

Yes, it's been in the works since before XP was released. It was actually suppose to debut back in 2004, but because so many microsoft customers were complaining about XP Microsoft dedicated most of its time to addressing issues with XP before moving on to Vista.
Vista was also suppose to be released in 2005 and now its been postponed until 2007.
It's kind of silly really. Critics complained about XP when it came out and got the public riled up about the security flaws. So Microsoft begins to work on this. Now the critics are condoning Microsoft for letting iMac and OS X get ahead of the competition and wonder when Vista will be released.

Sounds cool, but like every new thing before it, I'll wait until the general populous buys it and the more prominent bugs are worked out first (and the price falls a bit) before leaping in and buying it.

It's definitely a good idea to wait before buying new software like this, especially when it's a new Windows operating system. I'm sure the hackers are foaming at the jaws for the release so they can break it. Also, Microsoft's record of software releases is not the greatest...there always seem to be delays and then they rush the product onto the market and it ends up being full of holes.
