My other cat not pictured in my signature yet...Is sneezing alot today. What could that be a sign of? He's eating fine, pooping fine, playing the same.

Shall I be worried? Will it just go away?

Personally I'd bring the cat to the vet if I heard it sneeze again. If the cat is fairly new to the househould I would bring it NOW. It could be a sign of a upper respitory infection. I'm super paranoid b/c of Rocky's chronic infections. Zakk started sneezing one day this winter, it continued another day and off to the vet he went for some antibiotics. It could also be a sign of allergies to something in the air.

Well we've had him for like 3 years. But I'm wondering if maybe because we've opened the windows now because it's nice out if that's bothering him? Like the new air?

Sam's been having some allergy stuff going on in the form of eye goopiness.
I'd watch him and see, but with the change in weather I wouldn't worry too much.

My momma kitty and her son both started sneezing. I took them to the vet and the vet said they had colds. February 17th I had to rush Cassie to the vet and they tested her for cat aids and found out the next day that she tested positive. I had to put her to sleep the next day she went down hill fast. I got her son tested a couple days later and he is positive. She also had another son Odie that got an infection in his mouth he got better but two weeks later he died on my bed October 31. This disease is horrible. Max is doing fine now.

Have you had your baby tested?

If it just the random sneeze I would wait and watch- for all you know he could have just snorted up a dust ball.
If it continues past a couple of hours, then maybe it requires attention.

It's hard to give concrete advice on something like a sneeze without knowing how long you have had the cat and what other animals it has been exposed to.
If it has been your cat for two years and hasn't been exposed to any new animals in that amount of time, then definitely wait and watch.
If it is a new cat or has been exposed to any other new cats then it's a different matter entirely.

I have a constant sneezer that has been dealing with this since I brought him home from the breeders. He is a regular at the vet. 2 weeks ago he was really a mess, poor little guy couldn't breathe out his nose. He has been on anithistimines, L-Lysine, and from time to time antibiotics. He is doing great this week without to much sniffles.

The vet thinks it's allergies, and it could possibly be the herpes virus which is why we are trying the L-Lysine. If it wasn't for all the great information I have recieved on this board, I would never have learned about the L-Lysine!!!

I would definately watch your cat.
