I live in a nice little mountain town with my boyf
So I took a sample of Frodo's urine into my vet, and there was no UTI. So what Frodo has is a behavioral problem. He either doesn't like using a litter box with another cat, or there are territorial problems. There are now two litterboxes, but that doesn't work either. He still pees in the tub and poops on the floor.

So I've put newspaper down in my bathroom and I guess I will just have to newspaper train him.

I don't mind that he pees in the tub much, at least you can wash it down the drain. I hate that it leaves a strong urine aroma thru out the bathroom because the smell never seems to go away.

The last time he used the litter box was when Sam was at the vet. So now that Sam is home, its back to the same old problem.

at a loss...

Yea...we are familiar with this problem.
We have 37 house cats and have gone through just about every urine and feces trial a cat could think of putting a human through.
Try using rubbing alcohol to help get rid of the smell in the tub and on the floor (the cheap pharmacy stuff works the best) and, even though you may have tried this already, place a litter box in the tub.
I have the luxury of being able to follow the little suckers all day long to catch them before they do it but most people work during the day and have to face the music when they come home. It's just a nasty habit they need to break and any change in their routine helps along the way.

Good luck and don't give up hope!

Thanks I'll try the rubbing alcohol.
