This just happend yesterday.

She makeing some kind of sound that is like a high pitched purr, or a pur mixed with a owl

At first i thought it was normal and she was just happy to see me but she been doing it alot more and im getting worryed its a cry other then a purr.

Another guess is that shes in heat, shes purring and laying on the stomich with her "butt" pointed upwards, but shes only 8months!!!

I searched for info on HEAT here but cant find any.

Thanks

It very well may be that she is in heat; cats can go into oestrus as early as their fourth or fifth month!

Spay her! And don't let her outside before you are able to have it done, or you'll end up with kittens.

Purring can also happen when cats are in serious pain.
If she is in heat, get her spayed. Either way, she needs to be seen by a vet.

Most cats go into heat by 6 months, so by 8 months, if she wasn't yet in heat, I would almost wonder what is going on...

Anyways, I am sure she is in heat which is probably why the sudden change in her purr. She needs to be spayed as soon as possible before she really gets on your nerves. She may also tear out screens to get to the outside to mate, and she could even start to spray all around your house.

As mentioned above, don't let her anywhere near the door or a window she could easily get out of. She may become desperate to get outside.

Yes...if she's got her butt in the air, is acting differently, and making a sound that's not in her usual list of sounds...she's in heat. What's already been posted is exactly the right advice...

Spay is like a hysterectomy for a female cat.

Spray is urinating to spread her scent for the tom cats, often on your favourite outfit
