I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'm posting it here.

About 10 minutes ago the woman from my rescue group drove away with Rocky and The Cat Formerly Known As Bosely lol (His new name, and his official one because it is now going on his records, is Little Big Man because I couldn't decide, I wanted a Native American Sounding name, I loved the movie, and I've been calling him Little Guy so he answer to it).

Anyway, she drove off with them, but they will return tomorrow, with a small piece of their anatomy missing. Rocky will be returning as Rockette.

Little Guy always amazes me, he just seems to be the perfect cat. We opened up the carrier, and he simply walked in, turned around and lay down. Rocky was a little tougher.

You should have seen the look he gave me when I said goodbye. If he could, I would have expected tears. He looked so sad and dejected, and just doens't understand. He's 9 months old, and was born here, and has never been taken away except for just a couple of hours for shots 7 months ago. He was so sad, and I'm sadder.

Even his mom, Deja Vu, is walking around crying looking for him.

It's going to be a long night, for him and for me. Rocky and I bonded immediately, that's why I kept him. When he opened his eyes, the minute I'd walk into the room, he'd be pulling himself up to look at me and cry for me.

The day I knew he was meant to stay was the day I had to put Fuzz to sleep. Rocky was all of about 4 weeks old. I came home, sat on the sofa, and started to cry.

Rocky made a mad dash over to me, up my body, and started licking the tears off my cheeks. He'd never done anything like that before. That was when I knew we were meant to be best buds forever.

Silly, I know, and he's coming home tomorrow, but I miss him so much. I didn't realize how attached not only he'd become to me, but me to him.

I miss Little Guy too, but he's only been here a short time, so I'm not as used to him being here.

Thanks for listening. I might try to take a nap. I don't know how I'll sleep though without someone nuding to get under the covers.

Can't wait until he's home.

Aw, I know exactly how you feel. I thought I was crazy when I cried bringing our girl to the vet to get spayed...I felt like she thought I was betraying her or something.

Everything will be back to normal in no time

I know, I just miss him and feel guilty because he was born here and it's his first time really away.

Then again, I was just saying to someone else that knowing Rocky, he's got every one at the vet's office catering to his every whim and loving every minute of it. He has that ability more than any other cat I've ever seen.

And since he's still a kitten, he's got the cuteness to help it along as well. I don't know if you ever saw the picture I posted of him a while back, but he looks just like the Pink Panther (only black where the PP is Pink). He is just as cute as a button, and people who look at him just laugh.

When he wants his belly rubbed he'll come right up to you, flop over with all his weight so it makes a really loud whomp sound so you know he's there, spreads his legs wide open, and stares at you until you rub his belly and say, what a cute jelly belly. Or he won't move. LOL If I don't tickle his nose or pinch his little cheeks like he likes, he just sticks his face in my hand until I do.

I know he's already got them fawning all over him. And I'm worried? LOL

This kitten has "male gigolo" written all over him.
