Whats the price where your at?

I'm curious to see if its about the same all over, or if its hit the $3.00 mark anywhere yet - I heard it was supposed to be up to $3 here in about a week, yikes!
Between $2.85 and $3.09!!!!!! It is Easter week and Spring Break and soon Summer and they KNOW we all will be driving and using our cars so they conveniently raise prices! HsSSSSSSS!

Diesel is up to $3.80 a gallon, and we've only got a quarter of a tank left.
Now the car is really going to sit in the driveway! I have to buy a 4-week train ticket tomorrow - how much do you want to bet that the price has really gone up? My employer is going to have a fit.

I traded my Chevy Lumina for a Honda Civic (better gas mileage) and moved 20 miles closer to my job, and the gas prices are still hurting me...

I drive the corvette to work everyday. It is our best vehicle that I can drive that we have, which isn't saying much!! I have to drive 80 mile round trip to my 5 hour a day job. When I figure the cost of gas and my paycheck, I don't get much profit from working. It is very sad. I heard on the news the other day, coming home from work that a CEO of exon was getting a 400 million dollar retirement package!! Who do you think is paying for that????

As for changing jobs, I live in rural Nebraska and my options are limited!!

I walked past a gas station today and it was $2.99 for regular and I did I always do and continually thanked the powers that be that I don't drive or have a car here.

The Civic my sister and I "share" (I drive it like once every 8 weeks or so, she drives it multiple times every day) is getting 44 MPG lately, so at least there's that!

I think it should be illegal to raise it so many times

I agree. Who can't live a normal life paying 3.00+ a gallon for gas!! Now I wish I lived in the city. That would be so much closer to work...

How long do you think this will continue? I mean, when it hits $3, do you think it will stay that way, or maybe make it way back down to $2 something again?

I think if everyone starts taking the bus, carpooling etc... they'll drop pretty quick
it's all about supply and demand. If the demand runs out, they'll be up to their ears in gasoline. They won't have any choice but to drop the price. I predict after memorial day (maybe even the 4th of July) the prices will go back towards the $2 mark. I hope i'm right.........

yeah, remember last year around this time they did the same thing. Threatened everyone with "gas shortages" then jacked the price WAY up. When the summer settled in, and all the holidays were over it went back to normal, if you can call it that
the war in Iraq does'nt help much either, but lets save that discussion for the IMO forum
