Ok I have a strange question for you all:
My friend has started seeing this man and (he has two children) since then his cat is urinating on his and the childrens clean clothes. is there something they should be checking or does this cat not like her. She does have a dog but I don't think she ever brings the dog to his house. Is the cat jealous? she has never done that before it just started a little while after they got together. As far as they can tell, she still uses the litter box too. Any ideas on whats up?

Vikki,
The cat will sit on my friends lap and let her pet her. She doesn't feed her but she does give her some occassional treats. I think the cat is just jealous of her being around personally but I thought I'd stick it in here just to see what I could find out. Thanks for the help!

If not, I would suggest that you spay her. This will help. It is not uncommon for kitties to take a liking to a pile of soft clothes to pee on. Try changing kitty litter to the soft, clumpable kind to mirror what she has shown a preference of. Make sure the box is scrubbed out and cleaned and if you have to, give her a second box to use. Move the box to a private location more than it has been.

Cats generally do not *act out* in revenge or jealousy. Those are human traits that we freely give to our animals, but not something a cat will usually do. You can also try spraying Feliway spray in the area she is peeing in. Good luck
