I woke up in the middle of the night to the oddest sound, like someone gasping almost,
So i run over to the nest box fearing the worst. Instead the little calico-tortie colored kitten is HISSING! IT was so funny, shes just laying there hissing.

Thats a new skill.

Then she starts purring, sounds like an old truck.

They are so cute!

It's so cute to see such tiny creatures acting like "big" cats!

We have litter in foster care that just turned four weeks old and the little female hissed at me when I picked her up yesterday. I was sooo intimidated!

You know I have yet to hear Pandora Hiss. Peaches she growls if the kitten is playing with her tail. But Pandora just bounds around and purrs.

I dont know what got into her. besides the piss and vinager, but still.

Is mama letting you touch them? For socialzation and all?

Mamma's been in the charge of the rescue since they were born, so someone has been in handling them regularly. She started off hissing and growling at me so i didn't try it right away. Since they are all sick i've been taking them one at a time to give extra fluids and that's when i handle them the most.

Oh good, glad that they are getting touched, hoping that mamas wildness dosent wear off on them too much. At least the fear of people.

Unfortunately all the associate me with right now is medication and try to force electrolyte's on them...hopefully that will be done soon and we can get down to the cuddling part!
