Tornado's freak me out!
We live in an apartment, which means NO BASEMENT!!
Where the heck would I go? Hmmm... good question?
Probly under my bed, I'd be so scared!
They are not very common in the Uk, tho i believe one hit Birmingham last year and did some serious damage.
Must be a dreadful feeling seeing one coming at you and not being able to do anything but dive in the basement or under the table.

no basement here I live in a Condo
I suppose we'd need to get in the large bedroom closet. It's definitely a good time to be thinking about this.

Kenz, no freaking out is allowed!
If there is no basement, you want to go to the innermost room in your home, preferably no windows. The lower you can go, the better.

I live in a hurricane zone, so basements are pretty much a no-no around here.

We don't have a basement but I would go into the closet underneath the stairs. or into the hall closet or laundry room.

We don't have tornados here that have been real bad...but if we were, i'd get in the shower since we have no tub...no windows are in the bathroom so that would be safer.
Yes, we have the basement, but getting down there for me and Mom is a major endeavor. (We both need canes.) We do have an interior hallway.
That said, I was sound asleep when the tornado of November 6 passed about a mile or so to our southeast. (That one had more than 20 fatalities.)

I live in a single wide trailer, so no basement and no interior rooms! I do have one bathroom with no windows though. It's the cat's bathroom and that tub is filled with everything from DH's bike to the weed wacker! So I don't know how we'd get in it in the first place!
Sometimes I can't wait till I have a house with a fixed foundation and all that stuff! Mostly I can't wait because of moment's like this: I'm peacefully going about my business in my own home, with my doors and windows shut, listening to someone else's base!

I have a basement and the cats are always down there but it has windows so I don't know how safe it'd be going down there during a tornado.
Yes I do actually. Its a little creepy down there. I would probably go hang out in the laundry room because it locks.
