UK Meet-up!!

I thought I'd start a new thread to give details so we can all book our tickets in advance (to get them cheaper! )

Plus, we'll be able to get the date in our diaries and see who will be coming!

Our meet-up will be held on the 8th of July in Leeds

We will decide on somewhere to eat, drink and be merry when we get there as there are plenty of places!

We can also sort out any other details we might need to, like what to wear!

I had planned on making a T shirt with kaylee and teufel on it.
But i will book my flight when i know when my parents friends from australia are definetely leaving.

How do i get to leeds?

I can't make this, I have a wedding that weekend. I am actually pretty gutted about this!

I am not sure.. whats a big airport thats close to leeds? appart from manchester? If so how do i get there form manchester and how much are the train tickets?

Fran i can find out about the trains if you let me know which airport your flying to. You have Londons Kings Cross but may have to change, Manchester and is Leeds not a main airport as well?

Leeds does have a major airport with cheap flights to and from Germany!

Lauren, we'll definitely be having another meet-up!! Maybe we could have another one later in the year?!!

I just looked at lufthansa and britishairways both dont fly to leeds, although i do have a super duper cheap discount to manchester for only 37 euros!

What airline goes to leeds?

Does easyjet not go to Germany?

Do you want me to get the train prices from Manchester?

Manchester to Leeds train prices are between £6-£12 return!

yes but its not like germany is a small city

Easyjet doesnt go to frankfurt i dont think.. well it never used to ill check it now

Nope easyjet, ryanair, britishairways and lufthansa all dont go to leeds from frankfurt.

I might just have to go to manchester since its 6 - 12 pounds i dont think it matters?

35?? what day are you looking at? It says 37 for me if i leave on the actual 8th but if i leave like on saturday its 61 euros

That is so cheap it's amazing!!

Duh it was too good to be true its actually 135 euros return because 86 euros is just tax
But its still okay.. Now i just need Prices for hotels
