I think what happens is others are in the process of posting or they are editing and we do not see it till after we are finished typing. Sometimes it takes me a while to actually type what I want to say. LOL I can be a slow person

Me too! I am so slow when I type. By time I finally type a couple sentences, there is a bunch of replies already.

I probably would have done the same thing as you, and taken them in. I've taken in stray kittens before, I hate seeing them on the street where they can get hurt.

Poor adorable cute little things.

Aw, I can't see the pics from work, but I will look when I get home. Bless you for taking those poor little things in. I would still use hand sanitizer when you go between litters, and L-Lysine is supposed to work great for herpes, but you would have to ask the vet how much to give to a kitten.

I still think the vet should have given me something for their eyes. They seem to be feeling better though. Any ideas for keeping their eyes from sticking shut?

They are so cute, and mom is gorgeous. How terrible of them to be dumped like that!!
I use a warm soft washcloth to wash eyes with my cats....they hate it, and with them fighting, it takes forever, but gets the job done.

Poor things - the momma must really wonder what is going on. But your first responsibility is to your own cats and I really hope you can work something out for these poor orphans.

I just got in touch with a local rescuer. She is going to come over tonight and help me clean the kittens up. She is also bringing medicine for their eyes
They are going to let me run the momma and kittens throught their system

I'd invite you all but I'm out of room right now

Ah...I was hoping you lived in my area and I would catnap some of those babies!

Under a stack of blueberry waffles.
Wow. I'd say you definately have your hands full. I would've definately done the same thing. Luckily, I've never had a whole litter dumped off here at once (knock on wood), but I fostered and adopted out 8 dumped kittens last spring/summer alone. Hectic, expensive (I paid for all the speutering and vetting, and got them posted on a few rescue sites as I could), but very rewarding when I found all of them excellent homes.
I wish you luck (and patience).

Excellent news on the rescue! On a side note, That kitten has the sweetest face...
