Tolstoy's grand adventure

As part of readying our house for sale we were re-organising the shed and hubby fetched out Felicity's harness. As Tolstoy was trying to tunnel his way out of the conservatory while I was gardening outside, we decided to try him with a harness. He was such a star, wearing it like he had always worn one. He knew exactly what to do, so I figure the lady he used to live with must have taken him for walks too. So, daughter took him for a walk in the garden.

The grand adventure of Tolstoy the brave begins.........

First of all instructing his big sister to KEEP UP!!!!!


When she finally catches up - he spots me "Look, there's Mum!"



Then he spots the summerhouse "hey sis, there's a weird little house in the garden"



"I wonder what's in there then"




On his way back home she stops to investigate the weird green carpet



Considering how well the big man took to the harness you can see we have nothing to fear with the mighty hunter protecting us

He did really good. I love the way he is snooping everything out

Awww Tolly you gorgeous boy

And weve had gorgeous weather for his roam around the garden

Tolly is such a handsome boy! I think he will be asking to go out often now

He did so well didn't he! He certainly made sure he knew every corner of the garden

He had such lovely weather for his walk! The rain the last couple of days has put a bit of a damper on his enthusiasm though (pardon the pun)

Awww thanks Karen and Yayi. You're right he's been yiowing at the door since then. Mind you he always used to yiow at the window - he just couldn't make the slowpoke humans understand what he wanted

Such kind words Amy I was amazed that he took to it so well, he must have been very well harness-trained in the two and a half years before he came to us.

Awww thanks guys, he has so much fun on his little walks.

You know, I can't remember where the harness set came from - we got it for Felicity a few years back. I think it probably came from a small pet shop in town. It's a very cheerful little set though isn't it
