Reminder for ALL MEMBERS

This is a reminder from the moderating staff to all TCS Members.

Please remember that this is a "Family-Friendly" site. That means that posts need to be rated PG at worst. We discourage cursing/swearing at all levels, although we don't have a list of forbidden words. However, thinly veiled cursing is getting to be a problem. If you wouldn't write it out, or think a filter would **** (bleep ) it out, find another word to use.

While we do not encourage children to post, do everything possible to keep our underage members safe, and do abide by the COPPA law which means that no one under 13 can post here without a parent's written permission, we do know that TCS is used in schools, is certified as "safe" by the child monitoring software available, and is viewed by children and families alike.

In case you don't understand what we are referring to with the term 'veiled cursing', we mean typing the inappropriate language but substituting a letter or 2 with a symbol.

sorry! I know I've done that a couple times. I thought I was ok if I did'nt actually type the word, sorry. It won't happen anymore I promise

How wonderful to know that TCS is used in schools! That is so exciting!!! I honestly didn't realize that !!
As for the language, I agree, and I do thank whoever it is that makes those wonderful smilies that really do prove "that one picture is worth a thousand words" - Good Job!!

I learnt my lesson a few years back but thanks for the reminder!

I am sure that I have done this a time or two but will from here on make sure to keep all language child-appropriate!
