Any one use this (Petmate Pet Hair Magnet?)

HI Group:
I was reading a post on here that mentioned this product. Just wanted to see if any one else used it. And if it really works well? It looks like a window squeegee wiper. Couldn't you just use one of those to? I would think it would be a lot cheaper then going out and buying these ever few months. Or how ever fast your rubber on the thing wears down. What do you guys think?

Forgot to say, if any one else has a better way at getting all the hair off the couch, let me know. My vacuum cleaner isn't strong enough to do so.

A slghtly damp wash cloth works very well!

Thanks I will have to try that. I have even used duck tape to try and get it off. And let me tell you, it doesn't work as well as you think it would.
