Poor thing really needs a better name, im on that
So far so good, he is in his new box, the heating pad covers the whole thing, so wherever he crawls and he moves alot he has the warmth. Its a shallow drawer that ive covered with a towel. Its small so it sits on the desk with me. Ive gotten a few drops of watered down evaporated milk into him. I found some resipies for kitten glop, that were milk water egg yolk and karo syrup. so i made some of that for the next time he starts making noise. Ive only been holding him for a few hours, but ive noticed when he is hungry he starts squriming and crying, so squeeze droplets onto his mouth, and he does get some in him. Thankfully.
All 4 of his siblings are doing well. Sence the 3 have been removed, taz is now always in her nest with her kittens. i brought her some treats and she ate those right up. I also changed her nest box to a larger tub. I was thinking maybe it was too small? i hope that helps the ones left in there. She seems happier now. with less babies. Maybe there were too many to care for? She is young.
When i brought red into his mom, while she was outta the nest, i held and pet her, while trying to get him to nurse, he couldent. He would rut and make his sucking sounds ,but he wouldent get a nipple. even when i repeatedly put him on one. Right now he is allright, i hope we make it through the night, in the morning ill be at walmart when they open, or at least my husband will weather or not he wants to be, at 6 am for kitten formula and a bottle.
untill then i just hope he hangs on.
