Has anyone tried this? Ingredients are:

Turkey Chicken Turkey Broth Chicken Broth Chicken Meal Herring Carrots Whole Eggs Salmon Meal Natural Flavors Guar Gum Seaweed Extract Apples Tomato Flakes Cottage Cheese Herring Oil Potassium Chloride Apple Fiber Inulin Vitamin C Sea Salt Choline Chloride Sunflower Oil Beta Carotene Vitamins/Minerals

I'll assume that it contains taurine, as it's for cats, and the folks at innova would know to do that.

I'm a bit curious as to why a lot of the higher end foods contain apples, pumpkin, potatoes, etc. and how much of these are in each can usually. are they fine bits, or chunks?

I've used it, as Nya still eats a bit of wet food every day with her raw. She loved it. The ingredients remind me very much of canned Wellness actually. (Only without the garlic that everyone on this forum seems so concerned about).

Sounds pretty good to me, and I think it's time I tried my two on a canned diet only on this. Both are picky, with DeeDee having some kind of allergy issue I haven't figured out...if I give him something that doesn't sit right, he is sure to throw it back up

I've decided to alternate felidae and evo. pudge had a food allergy to something (I've not figured out what) in pretty much everything I was feeding before, I've realized, and with Felidae, she's come out of it very nicely. Evo has about the same ingredients (with hopefully a different flavor so she doesnt get bored), so if' she'll eat both, i'll just alternate between them. The cost is more "up-front" than it is with the lower-quality foods, but I've calculated and found that it is less than half as expensive (with the added bonus of seeing my girl come out of her shell and DEMAND play and affection..still on her terms, of course, but she's still far happier now.)

I wish you luck with DeeDee.

I bought 10 or so cans of EVO. Twitch didn't really like it because it doesn't have as much gravy, but I knew that was coming. Lily likes it, but prefers other canned foods. They get one can once a week & then they act likes its the greatest thing ever. I didn't want to order much at once(not a whole case) like PFD sells, so I ordered from www.epetpals.com. They let you order as many cans as you want.

Actually, I was able to buy only 6 cans of it to test her out on using petfooddirect. I think that they are the only food with that quantity as an option, though.

In Calif. the Pet People stores carry it. I have raised German Shepherds on Innova for years. Innova Evo is a "raw" alternative. I'm now trying the sick Binky on the Evo canned cat food.

Taurine is in the animal proteins which are plenty here. So it is a lot of taurine here, dont worry!

This is apparently very good food.

I bothers me a little the fish ingredients, as some cats have allergy against fish. I would also be more happy if there were E-vitamin added (some is probably in the sunflower oil, though). E-vitamin (tokoferol) is useful for cats. But they dont need C-vitamin...
