Well I went to help out with a pet adoption today. There were three dogs, four cats, and some kittens. Out of all of them, a puppy, two kittens, and a cat were adopted. At least I think it was two kittens. I was away for a few min to go with one of the ladies and fetch a cat at the shelter. He was adopted today.
I got to bottle feed a kitten. My first time bottle feeding anything. He was a handful. I really wish I could help them more by fostering some cats, but the college won't let me bring animals into the dorms. Even though I'll be living in an apartment style dorm, its still no. I'd have the room and cats are fairly clean animals. I don't see the problem. *sigh* I really wish I could foster.

I'm glad you had a good time, and just think you are doing all you can at the moment.

It's so much fun and fulfilling doing this stuff, and it is the best feeling in the world seeing them adopted by loving people!

Yea, I loved bottle feeding the kitten. He was a little terror. I definatly want to open my own shelter/rescue once I'm out of college.

I can't wait to volunteer again. I also want to get a job at the vet's office here. Further my knowledge and all. I want to learn all I can to help animals. I feel like its been my calling since I was 6.
