You'll find volunteers in this thread, http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49868, and can get an idea of who is still actively making siggies, and of their styles, by browsing through the threads in this forum. Then you can PM your request.

Would either of these fit the bill, at least temporarily?

You're welcome. The one you made is way too big. The limits here are 150 pixels in height, and a file size of no more than 30,000 bytes (yours is 293,360bytes).

I just wish i knew what breed he was.

He looks like a Persian, or part-Persian. He's got a short face like a Persian, just going by that photo, and is fluffy like one.

Shadow is a beautiful kitty and that is a lovely signature!

I'd love to know all about shadow, his story etc!

Hope you two are having a great day

Thank you! I finally got up the nerve to try the "freehand" method of "cutting" a cat out of a photo (I've been erasing the backgrounds, but Shadow is too fluffy for that). The background to the siggy is simply a Playstation Portable one from a freebie site.

That's really pretty Tricia! It's hard to get the fluffy ones to look right, but you did it!

What freebie site would that be?

I was looking for Paint Shop Pro, not Playstation Portable, but found that the backgrounds are good for siggies.
