My Missy has always been finiky - especially since she had her teeth pulled due to stomatitis but a few days ago I GOOFED. I bought turkey breast and cooked it but it upset my stomach (everything does as I have IBS) so I offered her some.

NOW she will ONLY eat cooked turkey! She is refusing to eat any cat food - cheap - expensive - dry or canned.

I don't know what to do. She is on cyproheptidine at the Vets suggestion but so far it is not making her hungry, She was doing OK ( not eating a lot but some) till she ate the turkey.

I will happily cook her a homemade turkey cat dinner but I need a recipe and don't have money to go buy a book!

I did cooked for a while ... raw is easier as you have to add less to the food

A homecooked meal is healthier than some old kibble anyday, IMO.
Here is a good recipe:

1 cup chopped cooked turkey
1/4 cup liver (beef, turkey, chicken, etc.)
1/4 cup heart (beef, turkey, chicken, etc.)
1/2 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup chopped broccoli, cooked until tender
1/4 cup chopped carrot, cooked until tender
Chicken broth

Process all ingredients in a food processor or blender with enough chicken broth to hold together. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Have you tried giving her raw turkey? Like a raw turkey neck or wing? It's even more healthy than a homecooked meal. It also has lots of calcium and phosphorus.

I just wanted to add, that turkey isn't fatty enough of a meat to be used as the primary protein source. It doesn't have enough fat lipids in the muscle meat for cats. If you're going to use turkey, rotate it with other meats, please don't use it exclusivley.

How much do you feed, say, an 8 lb cat of that...sounds yummy!

The above recipe doesn't list any added vitamins or supplements, and I don't believe as written it would be a complete diet.
I.e. a diet for adult cats from Dr. Jean C. Hofve (can be found here http://www.critterchat.net/vet6.htm - just scroll down to her recipe) you'll note she lists a number of supplements. Please do not do any diet without running it by your vet first to double check it is nutritionally complete.

What's considered a fatty meat for a raw diet? I feed mostly raw chicken with some turkey(they dont like turkey as much), but is the chicken ok? I also use Call of the wild supplements and ground bone.

Really? I was on the understanding that turkey had quite a bit of fat. I also thought chicken had less than turkey and rabbit was quite lean (hence my cats won't eat it). I know duck is high in fat but overall thought turkey to be the closest in fat content for good health, where duck was on the high end. Though until recently didn't realize how high the inflammatory factor of turkey was....but I don't think that matters if your cat is healthy.
