I LOVE Rob and his films and music...I saw his house when I went to LA hehe. Love the old school horror. House of 1000 Corpses is great, I bought both flms the day they came out on DVD and I have watched them a million times.

SinCity - who in their right mind thought a movie would look good ALL in bluescreen? Sure it had all the best actors but even they couldn't save it.

ANY movie that is a remake - why mess with the original, you wll just kill it. Sorry all the Oceans 11 fans but the new one was no where close to the second. It didn't even follow the same plot line.

The worst movie ever in all reality but it was so well done that it makes it okay. Texas Chainsaw Massacure(the original) IT was bad, poorly acted and written but so well filmed. I had to turn it off halfway through and take it back to the store that night. Side note if you like to watch scary movies, get tit, but I worn you......you will not be the same afterwards.

I liked the Village. A "check your reality at the door" movie, yes, but great suspense.

Ever seen Bubba Ho-Tep?

O Brother Where Art Thou is one of my all-time favorite movies!

Of course, I also loved Fargo, and I must admit to being a bad B-movie and campy stuff fan as well. There's something magical about sitting up late at night munching popcorn, watching a movie so awful that it's actually good. I'm a big fan of the 60's Batman shows with Adam West.

I really can't name a worst movie, because I won't pay to watch ones that I can tell from the previews that I would hate...usually movies that are geared towards teenage boys, and movies that rely on graphic violence and shock instead of drama. I also can't stand blood and guts horror movies - I much prefer some good clean suspense.

That rocks!! You lucky word-I-can't-say-on-TCS!!!!

I love Zombie's movies, too. His music ain't half bad either. My fiance and I have a House mini-poster and a large Rejects promo poster framed in the back room.
I liked Rejects better, but both movies were great. Man some of that stuff was DARK and truly disturbing...and you weren't supposed to think it was anything but.
Glad to see there are other horror fans here!!
I'm sad to day it, but some of my favorite movies made the "worst" lists. lol 2001, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix....

Anywho....
My worst movies ever:
Anything with Tom Cruise, Rob Schnieder or Adam Sandler (except The Wedding Singer...that was cute)...they are just terrible.
The Matrix: Revolutions

Star Wars Ep I, and to some extent, Ep II
Sideways (Good lord, that was terrible! My fiance and I made it about half way through and walked out. I almost demanded my money back from the ticket counter.)
Jersey Girl (How can Kevin Smith do a movie WITHOUT Jay and Silent Bob???)
Titanic

There are others, but I can't think of them off hand.

Edit to add:
Some of the Batman movies. Yuck! What a disgrace to Batman some of those were. Batman and Batman Begins were fantastic, but my god they made some stinkers in the mean time.

Bubba Ho-tep was TERRIBLE!!! I had forgotten about that one till now. My hubby and I love the Evil Dead movies particularily because of Bruce Campbell's quirky acting, that is why we rented this Bubba Ho-tep thinking it would be hilarious, boy were we disappointed!

Sahara was boring- I can't even remember the plot, I fell asleep watching it.

Queen of the Damned- I love Anne Rice vampire chronicles and loved Interview with the Vampire (even though Cruise had a leading role, Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas saved the day) but QOTD was geered directly at the goth teenager scene with little thought to anything else. The story was chopped to pieces and mashed into a 90 min. movie that should've been 3 hours to properly represent. I would never be inclined to read the book if I had seen the movie first, which is a shame because her writing and stories are amazing.

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" is the movie. It was Pia Zadora's first movie (she was one of the martian children.) I have the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version - that's the only way to watch it. The Dropo character will try your patience.

Then there is a Mexican version of "Santa Claus" where Santa fights the Devil for the love of the children.

Yes, I have seen Clan Of The Cave Bear, when it came out and liked the movie
. I just watched it again about a couple of months ago, and I now think it's cheesy.

The Village was a bad movie. The worst movie this year for me was "Proof", the ending was so bad. Anthony and I both thought at the end of the move, that if felt like it just began. There was a beginning, but no middle or end. Out of 10… I would give it a 0 /10

THank goodness Im not the only one that hated Lost in Translation. I caught it on tv and started watching it because I heard about the raves - man that was so boring and I HATE Bill Murray!

I hated Dances with Wolves. I don't know why but I did.

It is very rare for me to actually sit through a movie - I have a shockingly short attention span and so if a movie captures my attention all through it, then it must be very good!

I rented the 40 Year old virgin but hated it and stopped it halfway through.

I love the books. I remember reading them in 5th grade. Can you imagine a 5th grader walking around with a 600 page book

Unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the
I just remembered some movies that I used to LOVE as a kid... and when I watched them again as an adult, found them terrible!

- Ewok movie(s)
I can't remember if there was one or two. Anyways, they were really bad!
Anybody else remember those??

- Baby
It's a movie where two people explore the jungle to find a family of dinosaurs that are still living there. Anyone else seen it?

- Labyrinth
ok, I guess it's not exactly a horrible movie. Still, I can't seem to be able to watch the whole thing anymore.
But you'd think that a movie with David Bowie would AT LEAST have some half-decent music.

I have to say I'm pretty stunned at the `Lost In Translation' reception here.

Max and I thought it was one of the most touching, sweetest, funniest and cleverest movies we've seen in a long, long time. We have it on the iPod, have the poster on the wall, and have each seen it at least four times. Brilliant.

The worst movie I have seen in many a year was the Australian `western', `The Proposition'. Oh. My. God. It got absolutely raved about, was called the movie of the decade, and all it was to me was a long, drawn out, utterly boring, insanely violent piece of self-indulgence. I hated it. Seriously, hated it. I don't usually `hate' things, and that's a pretty intense thing to say, but I felt that strongly about it. It put me in the worst mood and I couldn't stop thinking about how much I hated it for days!

Now that a lot of time has passed, I can see some of its merits, and actually the way they shot it was really outstanding, but the film itself? Blech...
