Im not sure if this belongs here, but everyone has followed Squiggles and Squeeky's progress, He is about to be 6wks old, and still wont eat or do the litter box

I guess I will give him one more week, then see whatelse I can do..

Anyways, Squiggles was a stray as most of you know, and I have always seen a black scary huge cat, outside in the woods..
Im pretty sure its Squeeky's father..
He used to come to my balcony and call for Squiggles before I "adopted" her,..
She would just come in to eat, make sure that she was fed, not knowing if she was owned by anyone,

Ok well heres my problem, at night I have always put the garbage out on my back balcony, because its too dark outside to try to walk it out. For 5 yrs its been fine, now its all chewed up and thrown apart..Mind you I live on like a 2/3rd floor type of thing..So only a cat could have done this??

I have been starting to notice alil bit of a smell, and followed Squeeky around thinking he was starting to let some pee loose instead of using the litter, since he hasnt used the box..Well my nose followed me right to the balcony..

Is he coming up to spray it?? Is he now upset that I wont let "his woman" come play..He's gonna have to get over it.

I wouldnt say he is feral, but he definitly isnt a people person, and as soon as I open the door, if he would have been on my porch you would never have seen him.

I called animal control to see if they would set a trap, they said no since I dont live in the city. Shelters really arent concerned either, being that we dont know if he is owned..I dont think he is,,maybe thrown out table scraps, but nothing more.

Am I gonna have to trap this crazy man, or can I just spray some of that pee repellant type of stuff to keep him from peeing? or spraying??

Its wood, so once it sinks in , which it might have, Im doomed!!

He can probably smell her and wants to mate. Can you knock on some doors to try and find an owner?

As for Squeeky, what I did was mix canned food with kmr to make it really runny then put it in a shallow saucer after walking through it they soon got the idea.
Once he's eating he should use the litter box, try putting some of mommas waste in so he knows where he should be going.

Some kittens are slower than others, Baker didn't eat until 6 1/2 weeks.

alliread...I would take matters into my own hands....borrow a humane trap from the shelter or your local vet and trap this cat and get him neutered. Afterwards, you can decide what needs to happen as far as next steps (remember, he could be owned by someone who simply doesn't care to get the procedure done). Neuters are easier to recover from than spays..but I would still treat him like a feral cat and get the vet to use dissolving stitches. If you need a low cost clinic...simply click the link to low cost clinics in my signature.

Trust me do it now because later on the whole front door will stink. Wherever he is spraying you will really know it soon.
