I work in the Law Enforcement field, live in Philly, work on cars and love animals.
I own two housecats, one stray cat that stops by everyday to eat, 30 Koi-fish in my pond along with 3 bullfrogs, & 2 underwater snails, and a wild Skunk and a Groundhog that I like to feed. Haven't had the Skunk or Groundhog in the house (yet), but when the
isn't looking... j/k
Cats are as follows;
~6yr old male: Puddles. Got the name because when I first found him on the street and brought him in, he would pee in the littebox about 10 times a day! Large cat that weighs-in around 25lbs. Had him fixed, but still has claws.
~4yr old female: KittyGirl. Don't know where the name came from, but I blurted it out one day and it stuck. Got her from a pet store. Walked in one day to buy stuff for the pond as a guy walking in had a box full of kittens...I couldn't resist. Weighs in at 14.8lbs. Also had her fixed and she still has her claws.
~Lilly: Stray female who likes to stop by, eat, lounge in a lap for an hour or so while watching TV, then wants to go out to see if anything has changed. Normally, nothing has. Weighs in around 11lbs.

Welcome to TCS!

You definitely belong to the majority here - our cats are fixed and they all have their claws!

Welcome to you, Puddles, KittyGirl and Lilly. If you have any questions about the site, please feel free to send me a private message and I will do my best to help.

Does Puddles still go to the bathroom a lot? I am asking because he is so large and peeing several times a day can be an indication of diabetes. If you haven't already, you might want to run this by your vet.

No, not any more. He stopped pee'ing alot about a week or so after bringing him in. He's basically going to the litterbox in a normal fashion now. I'll post pics when I get a chance, and thanks for all of the warm welcome's!!!!
