The tip of my cat's tail got stuck in the door and I noticed blood in various places around the house. The tip of the tail is gone, but there is a string-like thing that's bleeding. I put a bandaide on it and she seems fine other than trying to take to bandaide off. Should I do anything else? Does anyone know if the tail heals itself or does it need to be cut clean?

I would take your kittie to the vet so they can make sure there wasnt any major damage, and so they can dress it so that a serious infection doesnt happen.
