How am i supposed to weigh the babies?

How do i weigh the babys? What am i supposed to use? Is it really so importaint, or nessassary? I dont want to do something that might hurt them, but i have no idea what to use to weigh them, they dont register on my scale, anything under 5 lbs wont register, so what can i use?

I use a postal scale, with a one a small plastic container to put the babies in so they don't roll off.

I believe it IS important, if you can do it. I wouldn't have recognized anything was wrong with Echo until he was already dead, and I noticed one of the kittens earlier had dropped a bit of weight during the night, so I promptly scheduled a Vet appt (vet didn't find anything wrong, though). I don't know where I'd be without that scale.

Thanks, i will most deff pick one up when my husband gets off work in a couple of hours, and weigh them and take pictures so i know which is which, i cant tell them apart yet, there are pairs of kittens lol.

That is true a sign of weight loss is a vet trip or extra help.
