Hi...many of you already know me and my "little man". I am a hopeless cat lover, and am always taking in cats, and finding good homes for them. I have currently rescued 12 cats, and sucessfully found great homes for 10, and couldn't part with 2. I found this site after researching "orphan kittens", as I was brought a very malnourished cat, who ended up in hiding, and having a kitten, and refused him from the get-go. So here I am. I usually take in full-grown cats, or kittens who have been 8 weeks and older, so I'm not an expert by any means when it comes to hand raising a newborn kitten. I also want to note that I am not an "offical" rescue service, but have applied within the last couple of days for a license, because there is a need in this area, and currently there is only 1 service like that here.
I am also a dog lover....I have 2 dashund mixes, and 1 boxer, who we breed, and had 4 babies, on the same day my little man was born.
It gets frustrating at times, as my vet and other's in the vicinity have had no hope for this kitten ("little man"). \t
I also have 1 daughter, and one soon-to-be stepdaughter, and I also take care of my mother--so life is pretty full, and my fur babies are my release.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.
