How often do i need to change and wash the towels that taz and her babies are on?
It dosent look messy, but i was wondering if its a good idea to change and wash them?

Oh and can i vaccume near the babies? I found some stuff that really needs to be vaccumed up. When can i get this stuff cleaned, without hurting the babies?

Thanks, Lina

I was wondering the very same thing. My kittens are in the closet, a messy closet. I want to clean so we don't get hurt trying to look
I was thinking of washing the bedding in hot water without detergent. The momma keeps the area pretty clean. What happens to the babies waste

I think om happens to the kittens waste. But i still need to know if i can clean the closet and the food stuffs that my son put in there without distrubing the kittens. He crushed chips into the floor. Its bad. Then spilled water on them :p

Will momma mind if you put the kittens and her in the bathroom (or other room) for a little while so you can clean up?

I was just going to ask that also! My kittens were born 2 under a bed and the rest in her nesting box. After the birth I moved them into a clean clear xlarge storage basket and put them in my cleaned out closet (yes i nested also lol) But I was wondering about cleaning the blankets there on also.
Also I was told the mama cat cleans up their waste. But don't they need clean blankets in spite of that?

Yeah, they still need clean bedding. I change the bedding in the nest about once every two to three days, depending. Momma licks their bottoms to stimulate them to poop and pea, and thus eats the waste (nasty, but effective).

She dosent care if i pick up her babies, she grows when anyone comes in the room, but once she knows its me, she jumps outta her box and waits for lovins, Then i can pick up her babies,
Thanks ill move them and clean the area up, i didnt want to run the vaccume when they were there and scare them or hurt them.
