So, how many of you keep picking the wrong guys? (Or girls, depending) 1 month into this relationship and it's fizzled out already. So much in common, don't know what the problem is??????
How stupid do I look asking what you mean by that?Originally Posted by menagerie mama

Oh that makes sense to me now then. Make sure you buckle up and relax, 'cause you're in for one heck of a ride when you get here.Originally Posted by menagerie mama
Maybe not so stupid cuz I'll say I THINK it means I'm on the really late flight on my way to Canada? Red eye means you have red eyes cuz it's late and you're tired? I'm not sure so don't laugh if I'm wrong!
No. I'm talking about all the big potholes in the roads from spring thaw if I picked you up from the airport.Originally Posted by menagerie mama

Wyan!
Are you talking about bumper cars?
Well he was really sweet at first and seemed really into me, but when I asked him if we were exclusive, he kept dodging the issue, and just went down hill from there. Now we hardly talk anymore, and I saw him last night and he seemed really "off" and I asked what he was doing for Easter, as a last straw, to give it a chance, and he said "depends what time I wake up." I was like "Whatever, I'm done."Originally Posted by Hydroaxe
So, what were the events, (or lack thereof) that caused this one to fizzle out?
Oh, so you're the one that voted that I'm dumb!Originally Posted by fwan
Youre just silly and pick the wrong guys like i do
Yep, that's exactly how I am. I think I go into every relationship hoping he's "the one" because I'm not one to waste time on someone just to "have fun." I know that sounds wrong, like I should just relax and see where it takes me, but I want to have kids and personally, to me, I'm running out of "comfortable time" to do that. I don't want to be 40 having my first kid. So I guess I hope for too much when I meet someone. ( I don't tell THEM this, I don't want them to scare away!Originally Posted by katl8e
Honestly, I am normally a sensible person but, when I fall in love, I fall hard and my brains leak out of my ears. That's caused a lot of heartaches but, at times, its been a fun ride.
I am kind of shy at first, so I don't typically "go for" anything, but about a month ago I did buy a guy a drink (with persuasion from a friend) and we did go on like 2 dates and then he gave me the "let's just be friends" speech...I've been gun shy ever since...Originally Posted by Rockcat
Shannon, do you actually pick them - or do you wait until they pick you and settle? DON'T settle!!! Go out and get the one you really want.
