Two new additions to our happy family!

It took just over a year, but our little family is now 2 members richer:

"Amana", a 9 cubic foot fridge, and
"Kenmore" a flat-top dual oven.



It might seem silly, but it's a great joy to have access to a full-sized fridge and a proper oven after living for a year out of a bar fridge, a stand-up freezer, a rice cooker, electric frying pan, microwave, kettle, and a toaster!! Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I can make pizza, and fish and chips, and fried potatoes, AND COOKIES!!!

That is awsome. Always nice to have new appliances

CONGRATULATIONS!! At our fixer-upper house, that's how I cook, unless I use the woodburner (right now we're in our rental mobile home - it's actually much easier that having it rented out). So I can definitely relate!! How exciting!
BTW, any plans to bake pies???

Also if you do bake we want the winning recipes.
