At least I think I am. Every time that I've checked on the new babes, the black one is not eating. (But he did eat soon after birth) - I have tried to put him on a nipple, but he doesn't latch on. He is not the runt, their weights are as follows: (I'm actually weighing in grams but have converted to oz to ease confusion)
#1 - tan, 4.1 oz
#2 - Grey - 4.1 oz
#3 - Grey - 3.8 oz.
#4 - Tan - 3.7 oz.
#5 - Black - 3.8 oz.
I do have KMR, but I am hesitant to start it this early - I guess I just need some advise here...

Mom is doing just fine, although she is getting protective of her new brood - she ate while I weighed the kids - and never took an eye off me!
Also, I changed her litter to the paper kind, and she hasn't used the box yet - but I would imagine if she had to "go" that bad, she would!
Phew! This grandmothering thing is exhausting!

Good thing they are in the bedroom and the puter is in the den - gets me out of the way!!

This is on the kitten rescue site:

Kitten Weight
At birth, weight should be approx 3-3.4 ounces.

At age 1 week weight should be approx. 4 ounces.

At age 2 weeks, weight should be approx. 7 ounces.

At age 3 weeks, weight should be approx. 10 ounces.

At age 4 weeks weight should be approx. 13 ounces.

At age 5 weeks, weight should be approximately 1 pound.

By the end of the 8th week, kittens should weigh approximately 2.2 pounds.

Of course, all these weights are approximate. You may have a kitten that is slightly under or over these weights and still be perfectly healthy. If ever you have a concern about your kitten, or he just doesn't seem 'right', consult a vet. On the internet there is a pretty extensive kitty calendar you can use. You can access it here.

Thank you - I love that site!!
I guess the kitts are big enough, I will follow through with weighing them to make sure they continue to gain!
Thank you again!

I would seriously watch him, if I were you...it may just be because I'm paranoid after Echo, but still...there's just some things you can't be too careful about.

I'd say weigh him about 2 times a day, so you can catch it early if he's not gaining weight (that's what i'm doing with my brat pack, right now).

It's normal, I think (someone told me this, too), for kittens to loose a little bit of weight the first day, so I wouldn't really worry too much, unless it goes below the 3 ounce mark (Echo was 2.6 the second day...).

Does black kitty seem lethargic? Is he meowing, or is he very quiet? Is his a fighter for the warm spot or does he like to sleep a little away from the others?

I just checked in on everyone and he was chomping away!!! It was awesome to see! - Sammi is doing a wonderful job with them - I am so proud of her....btw, I am calling the vet in the a.m. to schedule her spaying - I am definitely keeping one of the babies, not sure which one yet, and he/she will be "taken care of" as well!!
So now I can have that celebratory glass of wine - it's been a long day...

I am so happy to hear that everyone is doing well!! Put your feet up and relax now.
If she could say "thank you" for scheduling her spaying, I am sure she would, so on behalf of Sammi, I will say it..."Meow Mew".
