Hi everybody

I'm sending this out as a new member..even though I registered back in December.
It's just now that I'm getting around to introducing myself.
I'm a 57 disabled divorcee mother of 3 daughters with their own lives....and I live in SE Iowa. I have 17 indoor cats and 2 outdoor cats.
The indoor cats are mostly white with a gray mark between their ears....ANY IDEAS HOW I CAN TELL THEM APART
(how about kool-aid dyeing their tails
) I can tell them apart when I get them up close because....as we all know, every cat has a different personality.....but when they are all running around and getting into mischief...(what! NEVER!
)...it's hard to tell.
Luckily, a few of them are black and white so THEM I CAN tell apart. Even tho there are 17, I love them all dearly....even all their mischief. They are like ornery little kids.
This site is a big help to me and answers a lot of questions--glad I found it again>>>I'm bookmarking it now, so I don't lose it this time!

Thankfully I have a nice big house-open all the way around. It gets pretty wild when they decide to play "chase"....but I love it. I've been a cat crazy gal all my life-and am considered the cat authority of the family.
I have even raised a day old kitten that was thrown away in the garbage! Even the vet didn't think it could be done..but it had to be put down finally at the ripe old age of 12 from an internal disease. It got up to a weight of 17 pounds. I had him neutered and declawed in front..and he was an indoor/outdoor cat...as were all of mine back then when my kids were home. Most of my cats back then were stray cats that the kids brought home or wandered in and I never said no....never could.
This bunch came from my sister's kittens
One was mine and one was SUPPOSED to be my daughter's for after she got married....we-l-l-l-l...she never took it....and THEY had kittens! and another litter before I even got turned around! As it so happened we had another pussy that we had had for some time during all this and NEVER got pregnant. After we got all the males that were all old enough neutered.....
...... low and behold..you guessed it...she was pregnant
The guy had got her just before we took him in. It must have happened while we were gone sometime. Anyway, so now there are 17. My girls are furious, cause I would never let kittens be born when they were here and now I had all these-well NO MORE. Cause that is my problem...I SIMPLY CAN'T GIVE THEM AWAY. I FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM IMMEDIATELY AND THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE!! Two of my daughters took one each, but that's different. I know how they are being treated and I get to see them every once and awhile.

Oh dear, I'm terrible on these forums..I get started and can't stop.Sorry.
