Critical Condition

As you know my Chance is 5 weeks. My sister told my mom and I today that Chance hadn't eaten since 9 o'clock last night. Not that she wasn't feeding her but that she had no desire too. So we tryed to get her to eat and she wouldn't. So we took her to the vet at 11 am. While we were at the vet he said that she had a tempature had lost two ounces and that she was dehydrated. Well they have Chance until 5 or 6 pm and they said that they were going to put a feeding tube, give her fluids, and put her in a incubator (not sure if that is spelled right). Well then he said that she is in critical condition. I am worried about my little baby.

Oh dear! The poor little thing! Big hugs for you!! Did the vet say what was wrong with her?

I will send you lots of prayers.

Well the vet has her on Clavamox for her fever. She is at home now and if she starts to go down we will rush her to the Emergency Clinic. She seems to be a little more alert than she was this morning.

Well today my mom took her to work so I am not sure how she is doing. Well I think that if she survives during the day she will survive, because our vet says that when they go down they go down fast.

Chance had to be put to sleep. She had blood coming out of her mouth. Well I am still sad and don't have much more to say.

I know it doesn't make you feel better, or change things, but I'm so sorry for your loss.
